DY-V medium

to 950 mL DDW add:

1 mL	NH4Cl	0.268 g/100 mL
1 mL	NaNO3	2 g/ 100 mL
1 mL	Na2glycerophosphate・H2O	0.389 g/100 mL
1 mL	H3BO3	0.08 g/100 mL
1 mL	Na2EDTA・2H2O	0.8 g/100 mL
1 mL	FeCl3・6H2O	0.1 g/100 mL
1 mL	CaCl2	9.9 g/100 mL
200 mg	MES	directly
1 mL	DY trace metal solution	see below
0.5 mL	f/2 vitamin solution	see below

Make final volume up to 1 L with DDW, adjusting pH to 6.8 with NaOH.

DY trace metal solution

To make 1 L, dissolve the following metal compounds individually (each in about 100 mL DDW first. Mix the six solutions then bring volume up to 1 L with DDW.

f/2 vitamin solution

To 80 mL DDW add:

1 mL	Vitamine B12	0.1 g/100 mL
10 mL	Biotin	0.01 g/100 mL
20 mg	Thiamine・HCl	directly

Make final volume up to 100 mL with DDW.
